plato describes a war where atlantean armies land on the west beaches of both africa and europe , they got untill tyrhennia (present toscany in italy) and egypt
after a long war they got defeated by the athen armies.

i thought this has some nice stuff to make a scenario about

however my knowlegde about the excisting nations around plato's time is small

im not sure if the fenician homelands where already conquered by babylon forces (not even sure weather they were babylonian, might have been asserian) making carthago an indepent state (former colony of fenician empire)
i know minoan culture + a macedonian excist , i think rome was established by the etrusks somewhere around that time but atleast the etrusks are there too

gallic and german tribes could be a nation and im sure in asia excist some nations

a map or any info on historically correct nations around plato's time would be very welcom!

Try this:

1) On your desktop, right-click and choose "new shortcut" (I<m assuming you're running windows)

2) Windows XP will prompt you to choose the path of the shortcut.

type (or browse, easier) to where you put the main atlantis folder. Select it

If you have earlier version of windows, it won't prompt you to pick a path. You have to right click the shortcut again, choose properties, and enter the correct path in the "target" box.

3) in the start in box, type in the location of your main EU2 folder.

4) the icon I included is to make your shortcut easier on the eye. You can select it by right-clicking the shortcut, going to properties, selecting change icon, and then browse to where you put the icon file.

5) So, in the end, your target box for the shortcut should read:

"C:\Program Files\StrategyFirst\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe" C:\Program Files\StrategyFirst\Europa Universalis 2\Atlantis

And the start in box should read:

"C:\Program Files\Games\Europa Universalis 2"

Pay special attention to spaces and where the "" go!

6) Double click the shortcut. Voila!

Sorry if it seems a bit complicated :( , but it's the only way this mod won't overwrite your original EU2 files. Be sure to read the other installation instructions in the readme to make sure everything works ;)

hope this helps
