@Wandering Sentinel - I second your thoughts, but the anarchist path is currently my favorite because it doesn't lock you out of any areas; if it was changed to do so, it would be quite a bummer :)

I've never actually played that path, but I agree that they shouldn't change it so you can't visit every area. What I think would be a fair or interesting solution would be to make all the paths capable of visiting every area, but make more use of the "ambushes" by making them randomly happen and involve either the rebel forces in that area if you didn't side with the rebels, the forces of whichever army you didn't side with (or both armies if you sided with the rebels), or all three if you went with the anarchist path and then set it so you're ambushed more often when playing the anarchist path. This would both eliminate the arbitrary limitations on where you can travel on each path while also making it seem as if everyone actually views you as a legitimate threat that needs to be killed if you take the anarchist path.

Yes. They threw a fit when I suggested they work together and just remaining quiet during the argument before the final attack leads to something that results in Ashe more or less threatening to kill Nerat. Choosing to side with the Disfavored causes Nerat to go ballistic and appearantly try to kill you and Ashe. I have no clue what Ashe does if you side with the Chorus, but the obvious assumption is he flies off the wall as well. Act I is set up entirely to cause them to be at each others' throats and you can't finish it without angering someone.
Indeed, so I don't know why you're bringing up insults :) They refuse to work together, and I imagine they even prefer not being chosen over being forced to cooperate.

Yeah, that's why the moment you try to tell them to send their forces together neither one of them try to kill you on the spot right? The issue isn't that they don't want to share the glory, it's that they want it all for themselves. The fact is they view you siding with the other Archon as a serious insult because they expect you to pick whoever you think is competent enough to deserve leading the vanguard in the battle.... And then pick the other guy. Then, if you go with the rebel or anarchist paths, you backstab the one you chose to lead the attack and make it clear you were just going to use them anyways.

Yeah, I always viewed Graven Ashe and the Voices of Nerat to (ironically) be more alike than they initially appear. While Ashe is a disciplined, efficient general that cares for his troops and Nerat is basically chaos incarnate, they both have the same holier than thou, "it's always about me" attitude that I'm almost willing to bet is the real reason they're at each other's throats.

^ I simply followed the story and eventually just killed the Disfavored who were trying to free him and ended his life.

Where are you in the game? I'll give you directions as best I can

I ended edicts of Storm and Fire (no to mention Execution) and I have Ocean, Mountain and Sunset Spire. I'm in search for Beastmen artifact (shield or something).

Once you get the artifact you can ask the Beastwomen's Prima how to get to where Cairn is, and she'll unlock the map for you. Once there, just make your way to the Spire and you'll get to kill Cairn.

Ah, I missed this edict, playing as "anarchy", the Earthshakers wouldn't let me in, i remember it saying that the gap was too big for anyone except a Beast to jump over, so I went away and did some other stuff, but before I could return, the Chorus had attacked, and I had missed the opportunity to resolve the edict.

So I'm guessing that the Beast tribe's help is necessary for this, so you have to ask the Prima for help ?

This is how it played out for me.

Upon getting the Gandalf treatment from the Earthshakers, the Journal suggested to look around the area for other ways to enter the Disfavored's fort:

WQbGEnS.png

So I looked around and got here:

P1F3ssR.png

When you click the hand symbol, you overhear this conversation:

cD053RV.png

At that point you can travel back to Gulfglow and have this conversation:

l0tzgC9.png

where either of the first two options lead to a fight, of course. Once the fight is over,

loot Basilio's staff and take it back to the Earthshaker's fort; you'll be given an option to use the staff to raise a stone bridge to fill the gap, and the Earthshaker will go, "ZOMG!!1one Kill the Fatebinder with fire!" on you.

Same event when you side with Nerat, but then you'd teleport away with Nerat. Only, keeping Barik loyal is much harder than keeping Verse's

Didn't see it mentioned, but with regards to the original question, the Disfavoured pathway allows you to do every Edict; however, when given a choice between Lethian's Crossing and the Burning Library after sorting out the Edict of Storms you must choose the Burning Library. If you choose LC, you're locked out of the Library.
