In my last game, playing the chechs, I decided to go to war with the romanians, to secure myself some oil (why should the germans get it all

I was already a german ally, however, the germans made an alliance with the romanians during the war, causing the game to display romania as both an ally, but also at war with the axis !
Whats up here ?
