I can understand that if you, as a muslim, conquer a christian county, temple buildings disappear. I really don't understand why the walls and barracks, etc should disappear together with the temple itself, but I can live with it.
However, after carefully nurturing the regrowth of that temple, by either building myself or by pumping money to the mufti or whatever, I had one case when he died heirless and was succeeded by a christian. The buildings disappeared again.
This is, I guess, not valid for christians conquering muslim lands, because the bishopric successions seem to be always of the same religion.
Anyway, a rare occurrence, but I guess not WAD.
