Good evening.
My computer is almost ten years old. Formally classed by professional benchmark software as a toaster, she proudly runs a Windows Seven Sixty-Four Bit OS on four gigabytes of RAM and a dedicated graphics card, separate from the motherboard's built-in graphics.
"Stellaris" actually runs on my computer (though it always crashes in the mid-game because of the butt load of Mods I have deployed), and a day takes one second to pass. Any lag or freezing is because of Mods and not because of the game itself.
However, I always want to do better. That is why I did some research and found an optimal way to greatly increase FPS and general performance.
It worked.
The problem, though, is that it took the colored border overlay of the galactic empires out with it. Now, I don't know what systems my country claims and I cannot determine the borders of my rivals and partners.
These are the commands I used, per the advice of the link above:
Is there any way I can disable the background, dust, galactic center (etc.) but retain the borders of my empire and the AI empires?
I really don't want to go back to slower graphics, but I cannot play "Stellaris" if I can't see the colors and borders being filled in.
Thank you for any assistance you may render.

Code:

tweakergui draw.dust borders.usemesh
tweakergui draw.background
