can anyone help me with assimilation of pops? I have heard of the idea before and im guessing it makes it so pops are turned to your cultural dominent one. Like I am currently playing as the netherlands and was wondering how one would go to assimilate pops? being able to convert walloons to dutch (or flemish) would be great. (since I dont feel like forcing my goverment to go to a party that has full citizenship)

Conquer Haiti and assimilate people there.



Though the best place to assimilate is Transoranje in South Africa.

1. Conquer Xhosa
2. When Oranje inherits Winburg invade them and conquer provinces or annex.
3. Unite all of Transoranje with territories from Nebedle, Zulu and Sotho and create a 9 province state w/ statehood
4. Factories and migrate workers



Gives you assimilation capabilities of 12,000 / 2000 (limited) and 90,000 / 10,000 (full) under same-religion.

I've done this before as Netherlands and there are no problem assimilating long-range POPs... other than the fact that somehow you have to beat Belgium, France, UK and Germany for said long-range POPs :wacko:
