Assimilating other machines

Playing a Determined Exterminator. I've consumed a Rogue Servitor empire. Is there any way to exterminate or turn their pops into my own? I briefly checked species rights and couldn't find anything.

I just modify conquered robots (changing name/portrait/civics) to match my main robots. They still remain separate species though.
