Playing as a DA I encountered the Impossible Organism (the Nivlac) and assimilated it. Despite no having population controls enabled, they don't grow new pops. Is this intentional or something else?

Same goes for "Awoken" who cannot be built, only thing you can do is use colony ships to spawn 1-2 of them then relocate them to planets on which you have your science done. And you cannot robo-mod them, which is realy annoying... Still they are great reasarchers but cmon, I want to add more traits to them to make them even better. Also I wanna build more of them!

the tooltip says they have 50% additional growth speed. they are supposed to grow, but it seems to be bugged. For driven assimilators at least, as ive had this problem a few days ago in a driven assimilator game.

Fun fact is that if you let them go do their own thing they will build themselves on their own planet.

I have the same problem in my DA game. Sad :( They are tomb world preference and I have some kind of galaxy set up that seems to have made a really obscene number of tomb worlds in striking range... I was looking forward to not having to build robots for all of them.

Nivlac are bugged for Driven Assimilators if you allow them to settle on your worlds. But, if you shoot them into space and conquer their pitiful colony, they reproduce just fine.
