assign holdings?

ok, I'm probably blind but.... how do I assign holdings to the ruler in republic with the new ui?
I can grant and revoke them to other chars, but can't with the ruler.

I'm playing Rome btw, and the initial consul have very poor powerbase without regional cohort, being a general and missing holdings...

Just click on ruler and it's in character interactions.

It looks like you can only grant to head of family now? And it's now harder to find the head. I have to click through family members till I find the head of family. Kinda annoying.

Edit: sort by power base makes it easier

Do you know he mechanics behind it?

For some reason agathokles cannot grant a Syracusan holding to himself.

Not tu mention that the holding screen is buggy (A-Z doesn't order the provinces alphabetically).

Well I'm playing a republic right now and looks like you can only grant holdings to head of families. Though i suppose your ruler of a monarchy would be head if his family lol .. ya im afraid I cant help ya.
