The title says it all. In my asset list, assets that I have turned on will frequently turn themselves off somehow, and I only realize after I start up a save and happen to notice that something is missing.

At the same time, some assets I've turned off will turn themselves on somehow, and I only notice that when I start up a save and all of a sudden have a save name conflict message at start-up.

This is not quite game-breaking, but it is very frustrating and inconvenient to say the least.

Any idea what is causing this and what I can do about it?

I found that this happens if you un-subscribe from a workshop asset using the Content manager in game. Using the Steam client or using a browser, this doesn't happen. However if you delete your own assets then you have to use the Content Manager, then go through all assets to check...

I suppose that makes sense, but the thing is, this only recently started happening within, I'd say, about the last month or so.

Before that I could subscribe and unsubscribe from assets via Steam or browser, assets could auto-update, whatever the case, and none of my assets would turn on or off on their own. This is a problem that's only fairly recently started happening.

Also, it seems as if I don't even need to subscribe or unsubscribe from anything for it to happen. Sometimes it just happens for no reason from one play session to the next.

Anyone from CO that can shed some light on this? Is this a bug that I'm experiencing that you're aware of or something new or what?

I too have only noticed it recently, I hate to say since the last patch as there is no way of verifying that. But I have only noticed it when I unsubscribe using the in game Content Manager, or when subscribing to an asset in Steam with the game open. Maybe I have been lucky? There has been one other such report on here so it is likely there is a bug somewhere, and yes it would be nice for CO to comment on it.

Definitely. I just had a lengthy go-round with it today, going through my asset list several times to make sure everything that's supposed to be turned on was turned on and vice versa.

I'm hoping this next update includes some bug-fixes and this problem is among them. Here's hoping.
