Ok....I'm playing the Ottoman Empire on normal difficulty on Ironman and around 1730 the disaster pop up showed this "Aspirations for Liberty" disaster that I'm ticking towards because my Absolutism is over 75. I have never seen this before. What triggered it? It seems grossly unfair to give me an event that gives me +10(!!!) global revolt risk when I'm basically crushing the entire planet. It says I can stop it by having +3 stability, but that's unlikely as I need ADM to core...and I'm only at Stab 0 right now. Anyone provide more insight on this disaster event? Right now...I don't even want to continue because this just came out of the blue for no reason(that I'm aware of).

It starts ticking if your stability drops below 1 in the age of revolutions, I think it's supposed to be a "nerf" to absolutism? At any rate, just bite the bullet and drop some points into stab. Staying at positive stability is pretty easy in the late game thanks to the silly prevalence of "excellent minister" events, so you might want to wait at +1 stab and hope the event fires, then go to +2 while the event is pending.

Also, the disaster won't start ticking until next month even if you go below 1 stab, so if anything drops you to 0 immediately raise stability.
