Is there a way to ask your liege to transfer to you vassalage of de jure vassals? I'm king of burgundy under the HRE. Is there a way to ask my liege to transfer the duchy of provence to my control?

Not whenever you want but there's an event that can trigger with a choice to ask your liege for vassals to be transfered. They are more likely to agree if you dislike your liege or they like you.
