I almost always play "vanilla" EU2 because I find the sheer number of EEP events for a lot of the European powers overwhelmingly constraining. Lots of good work there, but a lot of busy work, too. How many crippling events does Enrique of Castile need beyond his crappy ADM ratings? ;)

If you like history acting as a straight-jacket on your actions instead of simply providing a setting, EEP is probably for you. I love events, but you can have too much of a good thing. It's a matter of taste, though.

EEP is really great for its non-European events and leaders- many of which make a great addition to EU2. If the translation issues could ever be worked out, this is where EEPs major contribution would be.

I have, however, had problems with game stability. On v.1.3.1, I had it happen a lot where the game would just crash back to desktop, and this would happen repeatedly upon reloading, forcing me to abandon that game. I haven't had that problem with 1.3.2 yet, and don't know what caused it, but I also haven't had as much time to play it yet. So give it a try, but be wary.

I went through all mods that did not require a modified executable a month ago, testing them in my debugger.

1.31, which I tested had an huge amount of errors, which I reported, and they are probably fixed, which probably explains the stability problem.
