I've been playing as Aegon again and for the first time I'm considering choosing another place other than King's Landing as my new capital. Does Oldtown still get the ability to expand the red keep, like King's Landing does or will i be stuck with the common Reachman castle until i can bring up the frankly obscene amounts of gold to upgrade it via the regular mechanics? If no, then i think such a decision/event should be implemented, because otherwise King's Landing really becomes the only viable option for Aegon, and that'd be a shame.
It makes sense though that Dragonstone wouldn't have the best economy/troop numbers if it were to be chosen as the capital because it's still jst a tiny island, but Oldtown should definitely be able to become huge.
