Do you ever imagine how much better this world would be if we all spent 5.5 million hours of our free time on charity work rather than on playing CK2 and EU4 last year? And cry a little inside? ;-)

Think of it this way:
Because these amazing people spend their recreation time in the noble pursuit of playing Paradox games, it expands their minds and refreshes their souls, allowing them to be that much more productive, insightful and creative during their working hours, which makes the planet a beautiful place to live and promotes world peace. So you could say that Paradox is in the World peace business. Yup, Studies have shown
Now just imaging the evil world we would have if these great people had used the same time to watch say, "Reality TV". Shudders!
Yep, this is the way I look at it.
Generally the more mentally stressful your job is the more you need some sort of mental stress relieving outlet to not go batcrap insane. Grand strategy games usually fit that role pretty well.

Yes, he left some months ago. IIRC there was something about an independent project.About PDS. Browsing through the Advent calendars I didn't see Chris King, the lead designer of Vicky II among other things. Did he leave ? If so, I hope everything runs all right for him. He had been around for a long time at PDS if I'm not mistaken.
What happened to the female developer that coded the humongous number of HOI3 provinces? does anyone remember her forum nick?
