Well, he's been a project leader since FTM when we formed Team Awesome.
Have you recently been promoted in some capacity?
If you page up this forum, you can see post counts for various game forums - see Eu3 leads the way, ahead of HoI3, and then other games come, CK2 being most recent but giving a good chase to Vicky2 nevertheless.
EU3 came out in 2007. Of course it has more posts than HOI3 or V2 or CK2. But postcount does not equate to revenue, and the correlation between posts and popularity is tenuous at best.If you page up this forum, you can see post counts for various game forums - see Eu3 leads the way, ahead of HoI3, and then other games come, CK2 being most recent but giving a good chase to Vicky2 nevertheless.

I may or may not have written this entire post as an excuse to use the phrase "tenuous at best".
Why does the forum appear differently sometimes? Usually it's the dark blue with thin rectangular frames that I like, but sometimes it becomes light blue with large bubbly frames.
I'm really curious as to how popular different Paradox games are compared to each other. How do games like Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis and Victoria compare to each other in number of players or sales? Are the latest installments much more popular than the earlier versions?
Hello, being one of the few forums where the game developers actually talk to fans, I can actually ask this.
I am trying to be a game designer, what do?
I am a sophomore at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My major is game design and I am concentrating on the aesthetics of such games. This means level design, graphics, a little modeling with Maya, and plot development though not restricted just to that. Personally, I am not a fan at coding, but I will learn the basics. I am just beginning my classes for my major. So, I really need tips or a bit of guidance.
Should I continue to learn about the basic visual programs like Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator?
What level of competence in coding would you recommend for a person who graduates from college (C++)?
Would most development studios (or Paradox) prefer a person whom can concentrate and be an expert on one skill or a variety of skills?
What's so hip and cool about FTL, Space Rangers 2 did the same much better many years ago?
OK, a new project has been released (and it's terrific, Their Finest Hour, congratulations), so it means we have a team free for other purposes... has it been decided yet what are they doing next?
Do you realize he could get fired if he answered that?

This might be a really corny and almost silly question, but I want to ask it. Anyone on the team can answer it.
What inspires you? I've played Victoria 2, Hearts of Iron 3 and Crusader King 2 and I'm always amazed by the work you guys do.
