Ever had any thought on makin a game in Vic/Hoi style but in set in an made up world. Those games are exellent but as a historical game, the player is always suffering from hindsight. In a alternative game world (fantasy steampunk or so) the player wouldn't know that happens, or even know what wufferwaffe would be succesfull. Just a thought. Maybe something for modders though. They historical approach is offcourse one of the greatest appeals of PDX games but also a curse.
In one of the threads below this, Johan mentioned that, "Until the start of eu4, we basically only had one devteam". Did Paradox hire alot more staff recently, or is it just a few more personnel and the teams were split up?
When I started in 2010, I think the dev team was 16 persons (including me), with one small team working on HoI3: Semper Fi and a larger one working on Victoria II. These days we are more than 80 persons working at PDS, split up on four dev teams, one Engine team, lots of QAs and management. We have grown larger during the last two years than I thought possible when I first started, but I think we still feel like a small development studio just because we have so many different projects with not that many developers in each.

It seems to require that I have a company, which I do not. Still I consider the idea relatively developed. How can I make contact as a private individual?
With stellaris you decided do do something in a not historical timeline. Any chance you will do that a lot more?
I would love to see a paradox alpha centauri. I would love a paradox civilization even more. from birth of humanity to space with maybe a little bit of simplified versions of eu 4 / ck / vic 2 playstyles in the right timeframes. ALSO pleaaase make a GOOD spore... i loved the things that were promised in spore... i liked nothing that was delivered from evil arts^^ and after that... combine your spore with your civ so we can play from single cell organism until space start and convert that game to stellaris! sounds great? yeah! do it!
also also... if you think "yes! lets make that!" give me lots and lots of money.. cause... plx?

We do get a lot of pitches submitted to us, so presentation is important. I suggest look around the internet. By a simple google search I could find a lot of pretty extensive advise pages for how to make a good game pitch. Make sure you have that sorted first, then you can submit it to us. Maybe regular snail mail could be used if you print it on paper.

That would be very individual I suppose. Personally I really like atmospheric stuff. Played through Firewatch this weekend and loved it. Also playing a lot of Rocket League at the moment
As BjornB wrote it is of course fairly individual, but speaking for me I usually play a lot of RPG/FPS games such as Counter-Strike, Skyrim, Uncharted, Battlefield and World of Warcraft (and Hearthstone
). I also played some of the open beta of The Division this past weekend, will probably get that when it is released.
When I don't play strategy games I usually devote my time to games like The Witcher 3, The Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, etc. But lately most of my time have been in Counter Strike.

I remember that stream, I realized then that not only PDS have self-learning AI Skynet (Wiz) but Terminator as well (Groogy).
