I'd like to mention my own unimportant opinian so it would probably open up a sneak attack but if it's a fair fight the disguise might actually hurt the bear's chances of winningWhat if it's a secret bear so the gorilla think it's a simple puny human?
when he said that you made the SimCity game that SimCity fans always wanted.
Somebody (Shams?) talked about them wanting to turn over the sims fridge too; there was something about them trying the first push next year. (Sim city took 3 pushes: First cities in motion, then cities in motion 2, and finally cities skylines.)I made this account just to ask this question.
I watched the gaming channel at YouTube LGR (Lazy game review). You should know him as you sent him a review copy for cities:skyline, when he said that you made the SimCity game that SimCity fans always wanted.
Now, on a discussion on the comment section, an idea had come up. Can you, or for the sake of discussion, any other devs team, can do the same about The Sims? Is it possible to create a competitor for The Sims that will be better and will convert over fans, like you did with skyline ? Or simply other then EA, no one want to do it?
Thank you

Yes this is something we are constantly talking about, it is just a matter of finding a suitable time and project to do it on. We will eventually move to 64-bit.I have a technical question! When are you guys considering moving to 64-bit executables? These days most next-gen ports are 64-bit only since consoles have 5+ gigabytes available for games, and it seems like your recent games push the limits of 32-bit, even with the 3 gb flag set.
Most importantly, it would let you trade memory footprint for CPU time, which some games (CK2) could really use.

Stellaris, perhaps? I hear there are many stars in the universe. Their count cannot be represented by 32 bit integers.
It'd probably be a signed integer; consistency reduces the chance of somehow introducing a bug. So it'd be 2 147 483 647 stars. I'm not entirely sure where you got 3 203 431 780 337 from; it isn't even a power of two.If there are more than 3,203,431,780,337 stars in Stellaris, I'll be extremely impressed !

Not that a program has to use a 64-bit executable in order to use 64-bit integers.

Why not both? :-DSince this forum is purging history nerds and filling up with sci-fi nerds all of a sudden (was nice knowing you Trin but you don't fit with this new world), we probably need to change the tone, therefore a quick poll:
Killjoys or Dark Matter?

Can you operate a mouse?Hello,
I have cerebral palsy which affects all my limbs. I usually play games with simple control systems today get around this. Games with difficult / simultaneous / button presses become too difficult to me. Magicka sounds right up my street, but a friend who has played the game has said the controls would be difficult for me. Can you recommend any Paradox games that I could play. I already have Knights of Pen & Paper + 1.
Sorry, if this is in the wrong place, where is a good place to ask this question?
Can you operate a mouse?
If so then games like EU4 and CKII probably would be fine, since you don't really need anything, but a mouse and the space bar for them.
