Seeing as CSL is a great success, and seeing as I've played Game Dev Tycoon lately (you don't need a publisher in it after you've gotten lots of fans), is there a possibilitiy that CO will start publishing their games on their own in the future instead of through PI?

Very different skill sets involved, just look at our partnership with PoE they are very experienced in the industry and have a large following, but still wanted a publisher for all the reasons they have expressed.

So i just bought Victoria 2 + AHD + HOD for less than 6 euros (http://www.reddit.com/r/paradoxplaza/comments/2zdh7q/paradox_grand_strategy_bundles_bundlestars/). All Paradox games i've bought so far have been so by sales and i kinda feel bad, for being so cheap.

Just want to give kudos to the most interesting and relatable developer i've met :)

Paradox--I find that your games (of the ones I decided to check out) are universally:
- More polished than most (not saying there aren't bugs, but the games as a whole have some intangible thing where they are just very well put together).
- Have creative mechanics that I really like
- Are very fun
- Are very detailed where appropriate (which adds to the fun. E.g., cities:skylines traffic seems to be very well simulated. Vicky 2 has a lot of detail that adds to gameplay. Etc)

I'm curious how you manage to do this while many other game studios do not. Do you have an oversized/overpaid (compared to industry standard) design team? Did you just happen to be able to hire top-tier designers somehow? Something else? (Do you deal with schedules & deadlines differently? Allow more time in the development pipeline than other studios?)
One aspect that helps a lot, especially with the first thing on your list, is that Paradox is not afraid to delay releases if they feel it is needed.

a new Byzantine Empire in Space could be epic, or a game made in the universe of Honor Harrington, that would be totally epic, i love that saga is amazing
Honor Harrington is great, but I'm not sure PDX-style grand strategy would be a good fit. Something closer to Distant Worlds would work better I think.

it can be done Meneth, look at Sword of the Stars, i hope paradox can make that game, i would love to fight the Peoples Republic of Haven in battles like Seaford Nine, Hyacinth, or 1st Basilisk to name a few battles
Sword of the Stars wasn't developed by Paradox, just published.
And isn't grand strategy to my knowledge, and certainly not PDS-style grand strategy.

Is it possible for a veteran player (~2500 hours, almost full complement of CK2 DLCs)/veteran poster (~5000 posts, 4 AARs) to arrange for a conversation with a customer service rep or some other Paradox rep or some e-mail address to convey one's honest and not uniformly enthusiastic feedback, having some assurance that it'll be read go on record/file, hopefully getting a meaningful reply, being allowed to speak freely, without fearing that posting it as a forum thread or post will get you infracted/banned for not being constructive enough, not positive atmopshere, toxic atmosphere, spam, insufficient deference to staff or something else like that? I'm sorry if I sound a bit disillusioned maybe, but that's because my experience so far has not been positive, unfortunately. I would be willing to reimburse the costs of time consumed if necessary and adapt to any scheduling that's convenient, just with a bit of advance notice.

How big exactly is the studio at Paradox North (in terms of numbers)? Just curious as they are focused on small action'y titles.
Also is this studio located near the main studio in Stockholm? Or is it located inside the same building as the main studio?

I heard Paradox had two location, one in Stockholm and other in NewYork.
That question was for Stockholm.
They also have an office in Skövde and one in Umeå.
No idea whether there is one in New York.
