How might one go about presenting a game idea or concept to you for consideration?
Well, you'd start by searching for the numerous previous threads on the topic ... !
The bottom line is it's not yet more game ideas Paradox are after. It's working games that show the ideas actually in operation.
where do i add a new question, and more importantly how can i download the EU3 patches 5.1 and 5.2?
Depends on the nature and topic of the question.
EU3 patches come from your source of the game. If you have it on Steam, it will be patched already. If you have the game boxed or from GamersGate you get them from our EU3 forums here, for which you need to register your game here. If from other sources such as Amazon, the patches must come from there.
Thanks. I bought the CD many years ago and downloaded the patches through the game front page. I recently had my PC rebuilt and now they do not seem to load properly. The site was something like oldplaza ... but they no longer seem to work.

I've attempted to register my hard copy of the game by using the product key. I'm sure that i did this years ago with my original paradox account under the username Heyoka. I cannot find a redeem code for my copy of EU3 Chronicles dated 2011..I've had similar problems with steam when i tried to register my EU4 Platinum pack. So still no success.
Keys are one time only. Besides, you are not allowed to have multiple accounts. Your best bet is to open a ticket at zendesk and get your old account back.

Would you look at doing an improved EU:Rome II or maybe a new and different concept with more elements borrowed from your CK2 experience?

Just remember ideas are "cheap", so make sure you also show you have the means necessary to follow through on developing. Have you developed games before etc..
Something I just noticed: I alwats wondered what the Paradox logo actually is, but just a minute or so ago, I realized it looks like a skeleton of some creature in a fetus-style position. But what creature is it?

Well, how does it work? I have recently bought the BattleTech base version of the game in a german shop, got the steam code and installed it - all fine and dandy.
When I want to register a game here, it asks for a redeem code thingy- I reccon that this is not the steam code?

That is the Steam Code.
Also, if you merge your Steam account with you Paradox account (the one used on these Forums), it should automatically register any Paradox game the moment it enters your Steam Library. Note that you may need to log out, then back in to the Forums for it to take effect.

It's pretty simple, if I remember...
Log into the Forums, go to here and link them. If remember it correctly, it should take you to Steam, and ask you to log in. Once done, they are linked.
Rrmember, though, that after linking, you may to log out of your forum account, then log back in. The games only sync when logging in.
