How did the young paradox appear?
How was work in the paradox interactive of the early years? What were the first major difficulties? What were your expectations and hopes?
If those young founders saw how today became the paradox, a median publisher house with many titles following, 200 employees, a lot of loyal fans ... what would they think?

To pdxcon, you can guess a bit, but I wanted to know how the pdx founders felt during that times, what did they feel about their projects, what they feared, what surprises them...

Considering that they back in the day had to spend part of their evening free time several days a week packaging games, because there wasn't really money to have somebody paid to do it (which was why the devs took turns doing it in their free time) they might well have feared going under. Will Paradox explicitly support the continued development of Europa engine games (AoD, DH, FtG) by allowing paid DLCs? Or does Paradox want to wind down Europa Engine games in general, emphasizing Clausewitz engine games?
I am assuming that code all europa engine games are intermixed with each successive title (Victoria has some eu2 code in it, etc.) So, I am assuming that in the looooong foreseeable future, no source code for any europa title will be released, correct?

Not a coffee drinker, tea all the way for me. With that said, we have several different coffee machines at Paradox. There are at least three (that I know of, might be more) that are huge monsters. I don't know the amount of coffee needed for them, but they usually put four bags (not "normal" bags, the ones supplied to us) in the one in the PDS kitchenette per brewing. I can take a look tomorrow if you want to know more ^^ There's also one Moccamaster and a coffee bean grinder that one of our QAs (can't remember his forum nick, sorry!) brought to the office as the regular coffee wasn't fully to his liking
I understand him, I don't drink tea at the office as the hot water is too cold for the teas I like (black, at least 90 Celsius needed for them). There's also a coffee machine that makes black coffee, coffee with milk, hot chocolate, mocca and tea water in the reception for guests. Swedes take coffee seriously, and we are in the top five (at least, found very varying statistics regarding this) of most coffee drunk per capita.
