What would you guys say is the easiest paradox strategy game to start playing and get the hang of?
I'd say Stellaris. Stellaris shares many elements with a certain popular civilisation builder that recently released a 6th iteration that getting the hang of the basic building elements is pretty simple. Since you also always start small with one planet and a handful of ships you will naturally encounter new game elements along the way. What would you guys say is the easiest paradox strategy game to start playing and get the hang of?
Hello Paradox team,
I have a question for you: Who should i contact if i have a general question about working at paradox?
thanks in advance
Thanks for the quick answer,
So will post my question here:
I was wondering if u could use a geographer in your team. For further improving Ingame mechanics like (dynamic) weather systems, for map generating (cartography), detailed information about certain countries like natural resources, population structure or accurate, detailed landscapegenerating. <-- Just to name some examples
I did not find any explicit job offering in this direction on your careerwebsite, but certainly Paradox deals with these topics when creating grand strategy games.
Greetings
I believe they did already.I know that the Europa Universalis video game franchise originated from a board game with the same name that Paradox licensed (if I remember what I've read from Johan's Twitter correctly). I wonder if you have ever thought of acquiring control of the original board game somehow.
Because the MacOS version of HoI3 was developed by Virtual Programming and they seem to have stopped distributing through Steam at some point. Why is hoi3 dlc unavailable for mac while the base hoi3 is?

Same is true for the later EU3 expansions.
For newer games Paradox has started doing the MacOS versions themselves.
For Cold War they had East versus West in development, but it got canceled.Always wanted to ask: are they ever going to create strategies about other periods of history? Like ancient Egypt or late Cold war (maybe 1980) or early modern times (maybe 1991)?
Thank you in advance
