What happens during a big sale like this?
Who decides to start the sale, PI or Steam? Who decides which games are included and how much they are discounted?

We sell a gargantuan amount of games and DLC (hopefully).
Our excellent sales team plans the sale and coordinate with steam. We (sales team) decides type/size of discount.

Hi i want to buy Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game..... My problems, and question is.... bcs i own Vicoria 2 and HoI 3 already, but have never play them as they froze during the loading, i am not good enough with PC to fix by myself, and no other solution is offer, as a update to fix it.... So before buying this one i want to know if that game encounter the same problem before pay another 10$ for nothing!

So for example (using an old example, I think)
When I load up a East vs West campaign (it's the only thing I could think of), say, in the Beginning of Cold War, a video would load detailing, maybe,
a. The end of World War 2
b. The reconstruction efforts of Europe
c. Division of Germany and Korea
d. Starting distrust between USA and URSS
e. Independence fervor in European colonies
It's a bit similar to the style Wargame Red Dragon uses, like this one

For Victoria II, I suggest you try to delete the folder called "cache" in the map folder of the installation folder (for me, this is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Victoria 2\map) and in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Victoria II\map. Hope it works.
Just to make sure... my compreantion of anglish is limited, not my first language.... i errase THE folder, or i let it there, and erase what is inside of it?

I had the same issue when I first bought the game. Try doing the same for HoI III. There the cache folder is in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron III\map and in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Hearts of Iron 3\map

Why do you continue selling the The Republic DLC for CK II if it is broken to the point where you cannot actually play as a republic?
This is actually a good idea.
Imagine loading up EU4 and picking your start date and getting a short "briefing" video before you start. Depending on how modular the system is, you could have individual ones for each country or group of countries. You could also make different videos for each start date.
An example, with visual modules, from Victoria 2:
It is 1848 and revolution is sweeping Europe. Various groups clamour demanding rights from the Republics and Monarchies of Europe as Europe tries to cope with increased industrialization.
In France, the movement is strong. In February of 1848 revolutionaries overthrew the monarchy and started the second republic. blah blah blah
As with other nations of your region, your main challenges will be dealing with the revolutionaries and coping with the new industrial reality of blah blah blah
The game starts on February 23rd 1848. Will you submit to the demands of the revolutionaries or crush them. Will you use the chaos to expand or spend your time fighting off countries that try the same. Will you re-write history? Only time will tell.
