With the PS4 and Xbox One upping the capabilities of gaming consoles I was curious as to whether or not Paradox would ever consider porting any of your popular strategy games such as HoI3 or CK2. Or are those types of games simply not viable on anything but a PC?

I hope they don't do it. Porting of games from PC to console or console to PC usually doesn't give very good results. Paradox might surprise, but there are very few games that are good on both PC and console.

I have this little feeling that playing grand strategy games on a controller is gonna be weird. Runemaster was confirmed for PS4 because that kind of game makes sense on consoles.

I agree. It would be strange. Runemaster looks like a game that will work perfectly with a controller.

It does, that's what we used to demo it here at Gamescon.

They've taken in an investor. Some guy who is big in online gambling. He's the second biggest share holder now IIUC.

How will this impact Paradox?

- The majority owners remain the same (as many of you know our CEO Fred is our largest owner)
- One of the key criteria for this deal is for Paradox to retain its freedom to run its operative businesses

Mr Lindell owns 13% of PI.
Fredrick is the largest owner, so he thus must own 14% or more. From what I can gather (I've asked) others at PI (I suspect Johan is a big owner) make up 50%+1 of the ownership.

Fredrik is the majority owner, Spiltan the second (they've been around for about 3 years), Peter Lindell has come in on 13% and the employees own the rest.

We hope the main change you gamers will see is that we'll be able to do even more exciting things with all of our studios, including of course Paradox Development Studio, and continue having a diverse and robust portfolio of games. As we mentioned before, it was not only an influx of capital to the company but Peter Lindell brings with him a lot of expertise that we lacked and felt we needed to be able to continue towards our vision with Paradox. For Fredrik it has always been important to remain the majority owner of Paradox Interactive and nothing has changed there. Paradox, do you currently have any plans or ideas on developing an IOS/Mobile game? I think a mobile version of EU or HOI would work very well and maybe introduce a new fan base to the company.

We've been looking for a smart way to bring our the PDS games to mobile for quite a while now. Can't commit to a timeline though.

Didn't Red Alert 3 do pretty good on the PS3? I've never played it,(Only the PC version) but it seem like it.
