Question one:
Why wasn't Chronicles given in the Humble Bundle Weekly? Instead there was "EU3 Complete" (and we all know how complete that thing is).
Why would you do that?
Why did you had arbitrary fixed average for Magicka and Crusader Kings II ($5.80)? That was actually more than EA's, and they are proven money grabbers.
Btw all the money was sent to charities (in EA's case).
Second question is from a friend of mine:
Was Paradox Humble Weekly Bundle = DLC + EXPANSIONS BAIT?
Hope you are not offended, I really want to know.
Kind Regards from Slavyan
EU3 Chronicles doesn't exist as a bundle/SKU on steam anymore - the only base game offering is EU3 Complete.
Humble Bundle guys decided to try something new - instead of doing a bundle average they did a humble average - ie the average across all bundles.
EA - is a company like any other - they, like us, have to make a profit to survive. I wouldn't call that "money grabbing". I'm only guessing here but I assume the big upside for EA in their bundle was that they got millions of new customers to their digital platform - so yes they gave all the money to charity they also got millions of new customers.
Every single PDX game is designed to modular - ie there's a base game that's great and then we expand upon that base through modules (Expansions, DLC etc etc). So every game in that bundle is a game that provides a full & rich game experience. This is also true in EU3 Complete. That's why we included the base games.
I wouldn't say I'm offended - but I will say how surprised I am yet again by the sense of
entitlement by some gamers who don't always put things into perspective. I mean, you got CK2, Magicka, TSE, Leviathan, EU3 Complete, Dungeonland and War of the Roses PLUS the soundtracks for LESS than $6. We're talking hundreds, and hundreds hours of gameplay.
If you feel this is somehow not a good deal -and label it as "DLC bait" I think you seriously have long hard think about what you're saying.
