Interesting... but surely Paradox would add a lot of interesting features and that would make much better gameHave anyone of you played The Guild 2? Do you like it? I think paradox should publish a The Guild 3!!!![]()
Hmm, of those I've only played Puerto Rico. Junta sounds interesting, I'll have to look around for it.I like: Junta, Puerto Rico, Arkham Horror, the last night on earth, and Descent is probably my favourite.
Is it possible that you might release Svea Rike I and Svea Rike II on Gamersgate or somewhere else?
It would be interesting to try Svea Rike I as it precedes EU which is similar to/based on Svea Rike II and Svea Rike III aka Crown of the North which is similar to EU2. It would be really nice to see how it all started.
Have Paradox ever thought about making a Version of EU3 or HOI3 for schools. Maybe a quicker game and slightly simpler game, that would allow a class to 'play at history' taking the role of different countries. Maybe making decisions based on what they have learnt in class.
The world market must be quite big![]()
Actually my friend uses Europa 3 right now, he's taking a History Major at the University of Toronto and when he's reading about a famous battle or war in the books he loads that date and sees who's leading the nations and all that jazz.

EU2 was used in schools.
EU3 if I remember correctly wasn't viewed historical enough as to make it plausible to use in school context [ahistorical monarchs, strange alliances, lack of historical events etc].

That's interesting, was that in Swedish schools? Perhaps they can use the Magna Mundi mod for EU3 for more historical detail.

Never knew that. Eu3 has been used in schools, actually more than eu2 iirc.
Don't remember where, though I think it was used in 2-3 schools in the world in different countries.
Germany I believe was one?
I honestly don't know.
Storm Across Europe
Civilization 1
Starcraft
are the games I've played by far the most.
Yes, he has. I've been in email contact with him in the last couple of months. He's an assistant (or perhaps associate) professor at a community college in Florida. This guy is a teacher and I'm quite sure he mentioned he used it in class, though I can't find where he did so right now.
