I study education with the aim to become a teacher and in context of one of my Education courses I'm working on the question how PC games could be used in school and I was wondering if it would be allowed to use e.g. CKII in School or would I have to get a special license to do so or whatever I don't know.
In a hypothetical Situation I would be a teacher and I would do that, this would mean that I'd have to install the game at about 100 PCs (depending on the size of the school, can be more or less) where maybe 1000 students could access it. Of course with the risc that some of them would make an illegal copy when an other teacher wouldn't notice.
Or I let the students install the game at the PC that would be used in the beginning of the lesson and then after they used it uninstall the game. That wouldn't have the risc of illegal copies. But would be more time intensive.
So the first Question is as it stands up there: Would it be allowed?
and second Question: Would I have to purchase for each PC a CD or could I use a single CD for all PCs?
