Paradox, how many more years must I wait for a download service like Steam from you guys?
where do i go if i have a problem with death and taxes v8.1
That would be GamersGate, but that has since been spun off into its own entity.Paradox, how many more years must I wait for a download service like Steam from you guys?
Dear Paradox.
I have asked questions here before and gotten answers but I hope you will answer me once more.
There is a thread in OT thats called "what classic games should be remade?" and I thought about a special game, because I have read all 19 novels.....the DUNE novels.
Paradox, would you even consider to buy rights and make a Paradox style Dune game? I think perhaps some of you have read some of the novels, and hopefully liked it and
the dune franchise is pretty much dead today.....so please please pretty please consider it?
Imagine....the time span of the game could last *a really long time* compared with current titles and think about the massive tech tree. Just thinking about such a game brings
tears to my eyes.
Altough I hold the Dune series dear as well we would unfortunately never do it.
We simply don't make games on other's properties - even if we got it for free.
We'd rather spend that time developer our own wonderful IP's.

How many of you are going to Mojangs Housewarming party?![]()
Let's see how avid you are; where will the capital be of a unified Scandinavia be?
I've made my stance on various important questions for the establishment of a unified Scandinavia very clear over at the OT![]()
Thats not true, you make all your historical games based not on your own IP's but on humanity's shared history! (which luckily no one has claimed IP rights on yet)Altough I hold the Dune series dear as well we would unfortunately never do it.

and that where the topic should stay
what do you guys do once you complete a project (like TFH release) do you hav some down time to refresh or is it stright back to work and on to the next project the day after release?
Usually we have time planned for patching afterwards, and then we get started on the next project. So the transition is not immediate, but happens rather soon.

But surely there must be much rejoicing and maybe some beer involved at launch?
Don't give anyone any ideas!
