As I understand it; they don't really have the time to read through all posts, and only read threads that interest them (this is why there are actually Moderators and Demi-Moderators around), because they have limited time.

i just asked cos bronjb pops up in the strangest places, and so does castelon and always at the thickest action.

also podcat and DR always appear when there name is typed it seems, *stares intently at PD staff* do you have a forum plugin that detects when your name is typed?

Selection bias. I pop up everywhere too but you don't remember it because I have nothing interesting to say.

It's a very, very large community, I'm not sure only one community manager could do the job alone. Then again, maybe they could. The admins do a really good job.

quite possibly, also they probally do what i do and abuse the settings button at the top to see every active thread i've posted in. you come back 12 hours later and wonder why you posted in the "fifa 12" thread and go and see you started a flame war with a druken post about PES12 being better...

We have a great team of Moderators that do a tremendous job of keeping things civilized they are a really big help and handle most things.
Just like in support tickets things get escalated up the chain of command, if it reaches me it usually needs some drastic action, the buck stops here so to speak.
But also after a decade on the job at this forum yes you do gain an ability to anticipate issues, "All this has happened before all this will happen again."

its the top seller on GG at the moment 3 days after the preorder went up, and thats agianst a cheaper then steam version of dark souls (40USD (GG) vs 80USD (Steam))

for that reason i would say its going to do well

@ the team; i just read the CK2 exp DD0, has the new DLC policy limited your ability to add features? as the need to make various combo's seems to limit you to small changes that are debatably comsetic and not atrative to everyone

They wouldn't answer this question in the affirmative before any public announcement, for obvious reasons. If your question is "have they publicly announced HoI4", the answer is "no".

We are in Sweden. Swedes drink coffee... Lots of it. I suggest you thoroughly investigate the concept of "Fika" before arriving

For what it's worth, I've seen people writing here that they've seen Paradox team members (or at least one member) claiming that they are quite fed up with WW2. If that's true, I wouldn't expect development on HoI4 to start in the near future.

Personally I'd like a new try on ancient Rome. The first game was quite bad, but there's lots of potential.

Coffee is good! I'm one of those who don't get any effect of caffeine though, never have. I once took 400 mg of caffeine in pills, because I REALLY needed to keep awake. No effect...

But coffee is GOOD.
