6. Devil's Idea A doesnt make sense. You want to put them back to being orthodox/sunni AND set them as muslim tech? And what scenario are your refering to as 1419? I have put up a 1419 Age of Christ. Be clear about what you are talking about.

The original 1419, I think it makes perfect sense especially with the new reformation you said we would have

I have been talking with HoG and Drake and came up with this idea:

Everyone is catholic/orthodox. On top of that, we add one of these;

1. In 1520; we randomly distribute protestantism. 1540; Reformed
2. In 1419; we randomly distribute protestantism and reformed

We can randomly distribute using a system to place "clusters" of protestants/reformed in a certain number of randomly decided regions from a list of regions (Scotland, Catalonia, Burgundy, Netherlands, etc)

And you could have some rule about colonies converting in proportion to homeland conversion.

Yes that is what I am talking about, I thought that was allready agreed, I actually expected to go reformed/prot in 1520 with the new reformation.

And for one thing if all are set cathollic or orthodox no no no I have no interest to see another eu2 risk. Allso I dont get it why its completely irrelevant that current islam nations that have great advantage of receiving MP&tax bonus from their colonies frontier colonist bonus and the posibility to just take colonies build on their neighborhood doesnt count for nothing .

And when this extra MP and tax comes issue in the late part of game do we make then restart to as its unbalance then too?

no rezag the point is HG will play aleppo a orthodox nation, morocco can be nubia, then Golden horde can be georgia, ofcourse that would demand editing of starting position.

hmm how should I put it to me the setup doesnt matter so mutch I have been doing my points mostly as I just dont like the original most important reason this restart process started some nations having 1 less colonist yearly!!!!

Now only thing Iam interested is to get some guaranteen there wont be flow of restarts when no matter to what setup we come up with and people realise there will still be difference in numper of colonist, merchants and diplomats together with some getting frontier bonus for colonist and so on.

Edit: As I just dont want to inves a lot to this game if its going to be restart after another when ever someone brings up that he gets less colonist, merchants or diplomats than someone else.

Then I moved on to Age of Randomization. And there were naysayers there. There were problems. I fixed them. Things werent balance. I fixed it. The scenario has taken over randomized gaming. The naysayers can shove it. So now I take another bold step. I offer a vision of no-Islam. I offer a new political setup with 8 province/2 culture majors set up to encourage more conflict by moving onto cultural divisions. And of course, the naysayers are out in full. Thats okay. I was expecting you. Have some tea and sit down.

Problem is for me that last bold step went too far, and made it too much fantasia.

- Yes move the cot's clearly they where to my advantage, but it aint my fault, I pointed it out before the game began.
- Lets use "All Player nations Orthodox/Catholic;+ randomized Reformation". As long the middle eastern/north african AI nations stay Sunni/shiite. Hence the player nations are orthodox nations down there.

I don't mind restarting... nor continuing. If I have to vote (*tosses coin*) I vote for a restart.

If I have to choose between 1419 and 1492 I pick 1419 but its no biggie.

My feedback for Morooco is that with Petra sure to grab Egypt first this nation only have 2 MP-producing neighbours to rape at the start of the game wich is fewer than most. Maybe cores should be all over NA instead of in Spain where no sensible player will go anyway?

Also initial diplos for everyone seems like a good idea.

I still appreciate the effort put in by Ryoken for trying to create a chesslike setup for EU2 like this. It's probably impossible to succeed to everyones satisfaction but I think we should give credit, and some slack, where it is due.

Hell if I wanted I would take armenien and kill all that even came close to it. Controlling the trade in all cots, while colonising all the way to china would be like a walk in the park, and my tech would be miles ahead of anyone else. NO THANK YOU
