As of 1.8, alt-tabbing makes the game crash

Am I alone experiencing this? It's really annoying, since I like to play for some 5-30 minutes and then alt-tab and browse forums etc. Relaxed playing and all that jazz. But now the game crashes to the desktop each time I alt-tab. How is it working for you guys?

I am playing in windowed-fullscreen mode and had not 1crash since 1.8. I tab every few minutes out of the game.

Alt-tab works for me. Specific hardware setup issue most likely, which is understandable; there's no way Paradox can test their software on every possible combination of hardware.

I alt-tab all the time. Full screen mode. No problems.

It happened to me on Thursday, maybe it's if you tab out for a long time?

It's the only problem I have with 1.8 - tabbing will crash my game sometimes as well. It's almost a guaranteed crash when I tab from the menu / selection screen and maybe 10% when a game is loaded.

As odd as it may sounds, the crashes are now gone after I posted this thread. Probably no need to panic early, gotta gain more info by playing a few days. Might have been something saved game specific.

I've had a few CTD due to Alt-Tabbing, especially from the Menu Screen, which only very rarely have occurred for me previously. Not a pressing matter really, just annoying.
