What I dislike about the achievements is you can get every even if you play in Civilian difficulty level. There is not any achievement to reward players who try the game on Elite.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
As far as I know, you can only get achievements on Regular difficulty or above.

The higher levels are only for easy nations - Germany, Russia, etc. If you try to play someone like France, which get a -0.8 debuff on PP, by the time you've managed to get rid of the debuff, you're so far in negative territory you won't ever be able to do anything. It's not actually fun or challenging, it's just moronic.
