Arumba vs Wiz petition!!

Most devs actually tend to be fairly mediocre players in my experience. There are exceptions, of course, and Wiz might be one of them (I have no idea), but it is very possible that they get trounced by very good players. Certainly, in most videos where devs of any game showcased gameplay which I've seen, I was somewhat underwhelmed by their playstyle..

Wiz is good enough to easily defeat your average double-three-mountains player.. Hell even I've done that.

I actually failed that one too, at 93 european core provinces and a 7-province Scotland at 98% annexation.

Was a bit of a rage moment.

Currently doing Buddhists Strike Back and it's a lot of fun.

hey wiz. whats your opinion on you vs arumba ?

Deathmatch isn't a very good way to tell who is the better EU4 player since success in EU4 depends on so many other factors than just throwing armies at each other. At best you can weed out militarily incompetent players. I do well in both internal and public MP, mostly because I'm a very good diplomat. In terms of technical gameplay skill I'm good but not as good as say, Jake. It's hard to tell how I measure up to Arumba since I know it's harder to play a game when you're also recording it. I think if he was playing BBB without recording he'd have succeeded long ago.

Yes but this would be for fun, I would love to see a YT serie with you and arumba.

Maybe if me, Jake and him tac team Livonian Order we have a shot at taking down Riga.

I mostly just raged at myself for not remembering that occupation of a vassal cancels annexation.

Unlike Arumba, I don't always blame the AI when I lose.
