Exactly.

The thing I like about Arumba's gameplays is that he is totally willing to try things out, say "Hey! Let's see what happens when I do this..." It leads to some comedy-of-errors at times. He's not mini-maxing or really all into exploits. He's pretty casual, friendly, experimental and helpful in explaining his reasoning. He's also totally willing to go "Oh well," and pick up the pieces if something fails.

After watching a good deal of his "Let's plays," I'd have no problem playing in an MMORPG with him to explore a world and go questing. ("This'll be fun! Let's go unlock some zones.") I wouldn't expect him to be top-tier FPS team leader constantly crunching numbers and being an elitist jerk. ("Get off my team, scrub!") It's part of his style, his tone, and his temperament. And I, for one, appreciate it very much.

TBH, i'd do the achievement in style, by creating a catholic corridor from balkans to jerusalem, as the knights. Or wait no, as cyprus. Lot harder that way!

It's easy. Just wait for Ottos to attack and destroy Mamluks. Make sure you have an alliance with Venice and a claim on Cyprus.

After Ottos peace out declare on Cyprus as soon as the Mamluks will join. Go beat the crap out of the Mamluks with Venice.

Take those three provinces.

It can be done almost entirely on speed 5 and takes about an hour total if you just want th achievement.

Heh, his second run is not look auspicious either. There is literally no reason he couldn't have used the same strategy Byz uses these days. I mean he owns more base tax even, ya with LA, but his naval situation defined his last war. Pretty hard to watch without wincing.

Cyprus is a monarchy rather than a theocracy, and has a young, female heir with terrible stats.

That kind of "difficulty", the fake kind (IE regency junk), is not my cup of tea.

lol. He probably WOULD be "fine", similar to how if you break a few toes, you're still not going to die, in fact you can still move pretty fast if being chased by a large animal.

Actually it looks like it, yes.
You have to start as the Knights or Cyprus, and end up as Jerusalem. What you do in between is your business.
Of course you'd have to take champagne from France first ;-)

From what I can tell from the achievement files, you need to actually be Cyprus/The Knights when you form Jerusalem.

I think you're right.
It says:

possible = {

OR = {

tag = CYP

So for the event to trigger, you need to be either KNI or CYP at that time.
So Champagne is out of the question.
