Potentially stupid question, but here goes anyway. The Artillery research tree has intermediate techs between the 1934 (Artillery I), 1939 (Artillery II), and 1942 (Artillery III) versions. Each of these boosts Soft Attack by 10%.
When I'm playing an industrially limited nation, like Xibei San Ma, it's tough to keep my armies supplied with the latest equipment. If I've researched Artillery techs through 1941, will the Soft Attack bonuses from the 1940 and 1941 techs apply to any old 1934 Artillery pieces still in service? I also have this same question for the passive techs between Anti-Air, Anti-Tank, and Infantry Weapons equipment upgrades.
I've always assumed that these Soft Attack boosts were an across-the-board bonus, applied regardless of the age of the equipment. If someone knows for sure one way or another, please comment below. Thanks.
