When ordering, you get two items.

1 ex Imperator: Rome.

1 ex Imperator: Rome paradox Version.

Why is there two items?

Are there any difference?

One steam key and access to the game on the Paradox launcher.

One is the Steam version which has steam software in it. Use it to play on Steam and your steam friends.

The Paradox launcher version does not have Steam software in it and can be used to play with your GoG friends.

I have the same things on my Paradox store page. From what I can tell, we're gonna get a STEAM key in an email at some point tomorrow. I'm just going to activate that on STEAM and ignore the Paradox store page.

One is for Steam and the other is for Paradox (hence called "Paradox version"). It's the same for all their games you purchase from their shop.

I did not get it when ordering other items, such as HOI4, therefor I asked.

When ordering that item, I only got one article.

I presumed it could do with conflicting terms between steam to customer and paradox to customer. Concerning content.

The reason for that, I think, is because the Paradox launcher hasn't been around for very long.
