Yeah - at game start for Poland, Poland has three provinces that want to rebel: Ruthenian Orthodox provinces that want to form Gallicia-Volhynia. So I imagine it wouldn't be uncommon at all for it to form if they happen to rebel at a bad time for Poland/Lithuania.

The Gal-Vol were just there for like 60 years already, no allies, no nothing – nobody wanted to touch them until I fabricated declared and vassalized. Some things I guess still need tweaking with this Art of War.
BTW I have PU on Bohemia and Serbia is a march so its pretty much Big-blobistan and time to gobble up the other german minors. This has really been a weird game. And its still 1581.

It's nice for once to see a defeated France and a competitive British Empire isn't it? But I don't think this is going to be the usual either.

Interesting, I just ran an observe game that looked sort of similar (except for Burgundy, which got inherited before 1450, haha): Europe partitioned into several roughly equally balanced Great Powers all in a row. Poland never PUed Lithuania, so it went Portugal-Spain-England-France-Netherlands-giant Austria-Poland-Lithuania-Sweden-Russia-Ottomans. Almost boringly close to real life, except it suggests the current iteration of the game is pretty well balanced, which is nice.
