Well, I cut and pasted that text from a file intended for inclusion in 1.05, so you might find it's unnecessary to add these when that comes out... ;)

If you already found the list of brigades which you can produce atm then simply scoll down to the end of this list and you'll find the available naval brigades. Radar should be there, too, if you have researched the appropriate techs.

Doh, I didn't catch the scroll bar. Thank you for the help.

And for my next newb question I've Google searched the paradox forums but I can't find any mention of what happens to Expeditionary forces when the country that sent them is annexed.

While testing some of the higher numbers I encountered some funny side effects, e.g. getting built 1 convoy per day... Finally I settled to 300 convoys and 10 days retooling time. That should last until the end of a "normal" game. :D

I'm not quite sure, but I seem to remember that you can keep these divisions, if they sent them to you.

Hi

Don't know if this thread is still active as a long time since the last post or whether I should go anywhere else but having looked around can't see anything so here goes.

Background - I picked up a copy of HoI2 a couple of years back but never got around to looking at it until a month or so back. Found some problems with the game and talking to an on-line mate he suggested AOD and have bought and gradually ploughed through. Tried a few games as the Soviets and beginning to understand much of the games effects but still having problems with overseas trade.

More detail. In games I can make a trade deal with an overseas power and if escorts available it will automatically set up a link. However those are marked in green and I can't do anything with them, even with everything set to manual. This creates a number of problems.
a) It selects a port from which all trade convoys sets off. One game it was a Pacific port. The current one everything has to go from Leningrad.

b) It also seems to select at random which port you trade with. For instance trade with the US goes from Leningrad across the Atlantic, through the Panama Canal and around to Los Angelis! Similarly in the earlier game I didn't actually look at the track used but it went from the Pacific to the UK.

c) This is inefficient but when war starts it becomes really serious. Since the game has selected Leningrad as my export centre trade is easily intercepted by the Germans. Even if it allowed me to escort the convoys I doubt if I could push them through the German occupied Danish straits! Hence I have had to close the trade links down. Trying to open new ones it refers to all attempts as blocked, presumably because its trying to export via Leningrad.

Is this a known bug because it seems a pretty damned serious one. Not sure how bad it would be for oceanic powers but for my SU currently building up a huge industrial bases and fairly easily [I think] holding the Axis hordes off on a strongly fortified Stalin line, it means I'm running quite a deficit on energy and metals simply because it won't let me trade via Pacific ports [still at peace with Japan] and most of Europe is painted gray so I've picked the bits of Asia I can dry for trade.

I have a fairly elderly system, several years old and still running XP. A mate who's rather more tech-aware than me says I'm a bit short on the graphics, which is why its very slow, even on the fastest scroll speed but I can live with that. Got the game and patch 1.07. Is there any problems caused by my system's age or any simple solution please?

Probably timed posting this badly as out for a fortnight from this weekend but will keep an eye out for any responses until then and then after I come back.

Thanks in advance for any information/assistance.

Steve

I suggest making a new thread, in the general AoD forum, you will get more replies that way.
