Arranging games

Valknet thingy always seems to be down.

So how are people arranging games?

The multiplayer games I’ve played before everyone used mirc on quakenet, but the hoi channels #hoi and #heartsofiron are practically empty

See a lot of people use icq. Thought icq was person to person, or can you have chat rooms so several people can follow a conversation?

You can chat with several people in ICQ.

But normally it is easier just to broadcast a message to all people on your ICQ - list that you are starting a game (or would like to join one).
