Army unit names

Is there some way of changing the names given to land units, from within the normal game-screen without resorting to fiddling with the game files?

I would like to have a different style of names to my european and my colonial units.

Don't know. Don't think so.

It's very easy to fiddle with the files though. Just open db/armynames.csv (use wordpad) and you'll quickly see the system.
