Did they change something in how they show army numbers? I remember when friendly armies stack, you will see the full number of soldiers in that stack unless you clicked on your own. But now, no matter how many armies are stacked, I can only see my own army number, and I keep having to do mental addition by hovering over the armies and looking at the list. But this seems to happen only for human player.
Here is an example. My 11k Brandenburgian army is in Konstanz, and as you can see, multiple allied armies are stacked to it. However, it only shows 11K as the number. On the other hand, if you look at the Munster army marching across Urach (the blue and yellow striped flag), it is showing 17K, which is the right combined total of stacked allied armies.
So my question is, why can't I see the total army number in stacks where my army is a part of that stack?
