Heya guys so I just have a quick question about army experience.

I know you have land, air, and navy experience that can be used to produce variants. But what else can it be used for? Besides making different division templates.

And for the Army land experience can it only be used to make tank variants? Or could you use it to change something about your infantry equipment? Maybe make recon companies a little better or your rifles less prone to misfiring or some such thing.

I am just thinking out loud here (and this is not in the game), but would it be doable to include army experience requirements/costs for advanced doctrine-research? Right now, this sounds interesting to me, although there will of course be balancing issues.

That would be nice idea preventing nations staying entire game at peace from reaching "just like that" last stages in doctrines...

this would prevent a rush through doctrines, which atm is obviously possible.

It could otherwise only be prevented by adding/balancing enough days to research to last till 44/45 ( but then you have to research continuously one after another to get to the last one ). So you could stretch it out a bit without making the doctrines too costly.

Edit: and yes,why should a nation not involved in war learn everything before seeing action ( like americans first encountered german warfare around Kasserine, even though they have seen a lot of what their allies were doing ( not counting pacific experiences for this example )).
