I suggest adding a button to the army builder that sets the number of provinces being used to build an army to 'maximum'.

When you are building an army with a large number of regiments, it becomes very tedious to have to click the '+: add province' button once for every regiment. Adding a button that sets the number of provinces being used to build the army to maximum would prevent this. Alternatively setting the default number of provinces to be used to be equal to the size of the army rather than a single province would also solve this.

This will save me many clicks, THANKYOU. To help people so that they arn't expected to just know this, a hover tooltip for the '+' button saying that would be helpful.

You do realize shift clicking on any button that configures a number like automatically takes it to the lowest/highest value (e.g. when asking for ducats in the peace menu)

I did not. This will also be helpfull, though less so. As when building 100 men armies (without knowing about the trick) you literally have to click 100 times, but the peace screen is smart enough to not increment in 1 ducat units. :p My thanks to you too.

EDIT: Seriously, without 'just knowing' about the shift clicking thing, how are you supposed to learn it? It isn't in a tutorial, or tool tip or something.

I learnt it by playing CK2. On the character creator shift clicking has the same functionality. I personally never played the EU4 tutorials. I had watched a lot of gameplay of EU4 on YouTube before actually playing it so that's where I learnt how to play.

I will have to pay that there is a usefull tooltip if you hover for a long time. I never waited the 3 seconds it takes to appear and only ever saw something like the image below (which doesn't show the shift click thing). My lack of slowness proves my undoing once again *sigh*.
