Moreso of a fun thread along the lines of "What is your ideal fleet". Perhaps better well-suited for the general forum, I thought that it wouldn't be as applicable with all the changes TRP made to both divisions and brigades. So, I'd like to ask you - what are your favorite brigade setups for your various divisions, corps, and armies? A quick rundown: AA, AC, AT, Tank Destroyer, Engineer, Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Super Heavy Armor, Art, SpArt, RckArt, SpRckArt.

Some combinations (none of these have been optimized with the stats in mind; I'm only guessing that they will mesh well together):

Infantry HQ Corp
HQ + AA
INF + AA
INF + Art or AA or Engineer

Upgraded Infantry Corp
INF + AC
INF + AC or Art
INF + Art

Defensive Infantry Corp
INF + Art
INF + Art or AT
INF + AT or AA

Assault Infantry Corp
INF + AC or SpArt or L-Armor
INF + AC or L-Armor
INF + SpArt or L-Armor

Critique or supply your own! Personally I find Anti-Tank the least useful since it would have to be at the right place at the right time with armor divisions being few in number but great in power.

I spam mechanized/sp rct art
as for inf - inf/sp rct art... doesn't sound exciting, does it?:)

But really, whats the point of using AA/Art/AT/AC/TD, etc when sp rct art is soo good: +harddmg +softdmg -softitself, no speed penalty and are fast and cheap to build. Eng? They would be nice for crossing rivers, but penalties aren't that big and either you battle huge superpowers and you find your way around, or you battle tiny countries and then it just doesn't matter if its river or not - they loose. For AA I would really like to hear if they work - I've personally NEVER built a SINGLE (and disband every I get :D ), as air superiority is always the most important matter to me ( and thats because FTR/CAS just soo destroy armies, don't they?)

BTW, are You guys planning to add any new brigades in TRP? I mean like in HSR? (thats actually what i liked most there - my all elite armies :D )
Elite DIV possible for every country - that is cool!

And BTW- I've just assasinated Stalin :D ehehe serve him well

Thats BTW2

I usually go with ART for INF and even HQ; some HQ might have ENG, or AA if they form a single unit all by themselves. Unlike some players, I tend to build a lot of brigades for even my vanilla infantry - cost effectiveness be damned, I like the idea of massive artillery barrages :) Special units (MAR, MTN and PAR) all get ART as well. As for my mobile units, ARM/MEC is combined with SP-ART or M-ARM, MOT INF usually has SP-ART or maybe some left over L ARM.

Like the above poster has pointed out, Rocket artillery has a lot of good things going for it. However, usually I don't research R-ART as GER or SOV, the research time can simply be put to better use. Usually, when I can afford the research, I either have a massive amount of ART already or then the game itself is more or less over.
