don't really know if it was a bug or WAD, but England fleet carrier limit is way to small, i have HMS Glorious, HMS Courageous, and HMS Furious. Yet i have to get rid of two of them to make the limit. England was allowed 4 fleet carriers after the Washington naval treaty. Everything else is fine for the naval limits for England for a player to built a historical fleet

I'm not privy to the reasoning of the events, but it probably comes down to the fact that those carriers are probably better characterized as Light (or Escort in HOI2/DH) Carriers because of their small air groups (36 for Furious, 48 for Glorious and Courageous) compared to the almost double-sized air groups for the the USN Fleet Carriers.

EDIT: And note that there was no limit on the NUMBER of carriers (or battleships, etc.) but on their tonnage. The RN and USN both had the same limit of 135,000 tons with no carrier larger than 27,000 tons (two could be converted capital ships up to 33,000 tons).

Wooooooops, thanks THAT is indeed a typo that could break the birtish OOB. Fixed! I was aware about the tonnage limit, but 1 carrier for the UK was definitely not desired. Small CAGs are better reflected by techlevel, so i think that's ok.
We set limits to 3 CV/6 CVE for the US and 4 CV, 3 CVE for the Brits. Even if the US has superior numbers, i personally consider the British limit to be "better", imho DH-CVEs are crap. Though, it would allow the player to exceed the historical limit. :)

Any idea why Poland could possibly join the Central powers?

Central powers did exist after the normal end of WW1 because I joined the war as a Spain and was still fighting (dying). I'm really not sure how I've got Poland into the alliance though. Czechoslovakia also joined for like a day due to some events.

http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magyarországi_Tanácsköztársaság

A régi társadalmi- és gazdasági elit Bécsben tartózkodó képviselői Bethlen Istvánnal az élen megalakították a Magyar Nemzeti Bizottságot, mely Anti Bolsevista Comité néven vált ismertté. Ezzel nagyjából egy időben Károlyi Gyula aradi, majd később szegedi székhellyel ellenforradalmi kormányt alakított, melynek hadügyminisztere a későbbi kormányzó, Horthy Miklós, külügyminisztere pedig Teleki Pál lett.

Rough translation:
The old social and economical elite's representatives founded the Hungarian National Comission with István Bethlen, which became know as Anti Bolsevista Comité. About the same time at Arad, Gyula Károlyi founded the antirevolutionary Government, which later moved to Szeged, and it's Minister of Defence was the later Reagent, Miklós Horthy, with foreign minister Pál Teleki..

http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Magy...ág_idején_létrejött_ellenforradalmi_kormányok

This is about the antirevolutionary Governments, they never existed at the same time, were only founded one after another. The tables contain the ministers.

http://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horthy_Miklós "Az ellenforradalom élén" "At the head of the counter-revolution"

Horthy organized a military dictatorship on the Transdanubia, had hard censorship and usually involved into justice affairs. This resulted in the White Terror, which was never approved by Horthy. He never give any orders to terrorize the civilians. After the leave of Romanians, he has retaken Budapest, and used his National Army to uphold the power.

Why Hungary looses Transylvania to Romania even if it never entered the war? Does the current version offer some choices regarding the shape of the central/eastern european borders?
Why an victorious allied Russia (which avoided revolution) gets Gdynia? Memel would suffice, Poland under Tzarist rule does not need a sea acces via Gdynia...

As been said before there are no ahistorical events so the game tries to follow what happen in real life at this time. That's why Hungary lost Transylvania and why an Allied Russia act the way it does cause its not supposed to win.

As a side note, it maybe cool to and a "red alert" option to say if poland loses the Polish-soviet war and if hitler doesn't come to power. Not to say we should follow it completely as there is a Red Alert mod but the basic idea is a good one, just not the chromosphere's or telsa tanks etc

Is there a reason my sliders move on their own after the League of Nations events fire? I'm playing as Japan right now and not selecting a choice that affects my sliders, yet after that event fires my interventionist goes to the right and my central planning decreases. Just curious about that. Its right about 1925 right now in my game.

I guess the wrong country tag (-1) of Belligerence might affect things other than just belligerence? Either that, or you are being influenced by other countries to be more isolationist. There shouldn't be another cause. Is this the first time the event fires for your nation after the start of a game or reload of a game? There is an engine bug with incorrect country tag that I know of with those regards. Otherwise, you are being influenced by other nations.

Savegames would be nice.

I might be being influenced by other countries, but the logs that I have noticed only say slightly influenced (so relations only right?) by other countries. I haven't checked to see what it does after a reload as I was just playing through without a reload of the game. Also there are some funny feeling events where I reduce my national dissent but other countries get a belligerence increase and I don't, but sometimes I do get the dissent reduction and the belligerence increase. Sidenote: some minor modding to the techfiles has been done, but nothing that AAR modifies.

Looks like I already deleted the save games. I'll see if I can't recreate it later tonight or tomorrow evening.

Yea, I already reported the belligerence bug to the DH team, they know about it (not AAR bug)

I'm fairly certain you don't get random slider movements. We don't have many specific events for Japan, and Burning tested games to 1940+, so...

Unless the game is saving/loading if you are a player/ai incorrectly and there is a base game event for the ai which changes sliders, but you'd see a popup event for that.

You can be slightly influenced and still get slider movements, the amount represents relations change. Slider move is not connected iirc.

In short, I need a savegame to be able to tell better.

Ok, so it was someone influencing me ( I did find my saves finally). The damn Russians. Didn't notice it until I set the messages to show all the successful influences. Sorry about all of that.

So much for the world revolution: see they are even spreading their lies in YOUR nation! You should protest at the League of Nations. Maybe they will issue a useless note of protest to a nation that's most likely not yet a LoN member. Do you see any parallels to this in your personal modern day scenario that does not support savegames, but has awesome graphics? ;)

The Commonwealth event needs fixing. South Africa and Canada should not lose puppet status that early. This leads to Canada leaving the allies in 1926/27 and makes it very hard for it to rejoin. besides it wasn't till the Statute of Westminster in 1931 that Canada gained independence in foreign affairs and for South Africa it wasn't till Status of the Union Act and the Royal Executive Functions and Seals Act (both in 1934) that it to gained its independence from the UK in foreign affairs

Also on the commonwealth thing a bit I think you need to write in an event for the UK to release Ireland from being a puppet as we were an Independent nation during the war hence our "neutrality"

That's on my todo list. They will lose it after currently missing Irish Civil War.
