Armenia just got released from the Ottomans that separated peace in the league wars and they already want them all plus a few goodies, amounting for a mere 2k development.

I like the new system but the AI should really be given less extreme expectations I think. I guess that's why some AI get no alliance at all for decades: nobody could want to ally them when they want to annex half the world and don't even share a single province of it all...

Yes, Georgia is my vassal, and so is Khiva. You know as a player, I would consider myself militaristic and warmonger but I think that it doesn't take a genius to understand that conquests are made easier with bits of diplomacy, which isn't that King's strong point since he's apparently hostile with all his neighbours while he has no army and no alliance.

You're probably right though in that ruler personality seem to be what determines what is considered a *vital* province. The other personalities seem to be a bit less enthusiastic.

Location in the world aswell. I had an ally militaristic France and they had one or 2 provinces of vital interest in the low counties, a few more as strategic interest. And like every small native opm in the new world.

I really feel like that the AI should use the new region system to have a few bordering regions as of interest and that's it. Larger empires could want some more stuff, especially militaristic AI just wants all clay.
