The evidence will be handed over to the Tribunal by the institutions. The accused will defend himself, that's the reason why we teach our soldiers and officers about the Military Law. Though the defendand won't be defended that's blanced by the fact that there is no prosecutor. It's the Tribunal that questions.

[occ, i'm a law student so i no what a ridiculas system that is. It takes four years of university before i'm alllowed to go into practice, and then it takes years to get the real knowledge of how the system works. how much training could you really give a soldier and how much will he remember if it isn't used at all in his daily life.]

The Military Courts work very different from civilian court rooms, heck each branch does things differently, those Navy boys are the worse, they do all kind of weird things which Im not even going to go into... Now son this is a military building, please calm down before the Military Police decide to calm you down themselves.

Theres a few other things as well, AD batallion, does that mean Air Defense?

I am working on a thread for the Airforce that will contain a lot of detailed info, I could take your numbers and work with them to create a realistic-ish airforce, I will consult you and the mods for most things, either via this thread or by PM

Cheers.

The units are quite evenly spread out over the 10 bases.
Training takes place at one of the normal bases.
No need for one separate for that.

AD is high altitude long range SAM in this case HAWK.

OCC:

"The units are quite evenly spread out over the 10 bases."

We have 10 airbases, and about 15 squadrons of airplanes, so some bases will have more squadrons than others, and training squadrons are almost always based at a seperate training airfield as to not interfere with the normal flights, imagine the fuss if a beginner pilot was trying to land at Eutopia Airbase whilst 2 squadrons of F-5E's were coming in to land, there is about 58 training airplanes, which would ammount to about about between 5-12 training squadrons, yes some of them might be based at a small airbase where there was only like 1 recon squadron based and nothing else, but having everything based evenely around would not happen.
Squadrons would be grouped togther more in more strategic locations.
As I have stated before I am working on a Airforce thread with a laod of detail, I have already written up half the history which I ran by Blade! first, I am trying to make it a more realistic airforce but also one that is stuck in the past with outdated ranks and planes and organisation, I think the current way of plane and personel deployment is totally unrealistic, I know you have a lot to deal with, all 3 branches and the police force thats why I am offereing to create a more realistic airforce, I can run everything by you first.
And if not as I am the highest ranking airforce officer I can just re-order every squadron to be re-assigned to new bases :p

What warships are presently deployed at this time. One, to be present round farpoint supporting operations in that, lovely neck of the woods and two, to be preventing ships leaving or entering the infected areas of the latin provinces?

[occ if i'm at sea in one of them assume i'm asking about other ships and am not just really thick.]

Would it not be aprorpriate to have some ships up around the WET to prevent undesirable elements geting in and out, and i don't mean the americans. :D. Even if there are enough US ships there to handle the job it would be a show of support and of are seriousness to deal with the threat in the WET. Plus good experience for our crews if they get to operate in co-operation with the US.

And we really should be watchuing for ships leaving infected areas to stop this disease spreading, only we have the capability to do that effectively, but i suppose we need civil authourisation and they are never to quick of the mark.

Repairs had been delayed and Joe Allen was non to pleased. It had taken far longer to have the Undeniable towed in than you would have thought and once there, there were further delays. This was not acceptable, and the scrawl seemed to be becoming a permanent feature of his face.

Finally a slip was ready and we could put into a dry dock. (OCC was told this was the best location for repairs and have to make a guess that this would exist there if not, than I drank too much and am delusional and will just have to make amends). Slowly the frigate was eased into its berth and the massive doors closed behind her.

It would take some time until the water was pumped out and a close inspection could be preformed outside the hull. In the mean time, Joe would have the unpleasant task of arranging for the dead and wounded to be offloaded. While his medical staff would make most of the arrangements, Captain Allen always felt it was part of the commander’s job to explain to the families just why their loved one gave their life for their country.

No one gave their life. How do you explain how an accident had taken it from someone? It was not some random act of God or war, but caused by too many short cuts taking by penny pinchers saving a few buck, or admiral’s determined to get the best new fade of the moment.

No, this was criminal what had happened, and Joe was determined to see it through. To get wrongs righted and accountability, even his own, exposed.

(OCC sorry for the long time away)

Broadcast coming from ENS Undeniable

Members of the armed forces of Eutopia, a most dire situation has arisen. Leadinf members of our services are attepting to seize power away from the people of this country. Admiral Tulp and General Haynes are not only disobeying the direct orders of their commander in chief, but attempting to remove him from office and seize power. This cannot be allowed to happen. The role of the military is too defend the people and democracy, not to run the country.

You must act now to stop this madness. The admiral and General haynes orders should no longer be followed, they are traitors. Secure your own bases first and arrest anyone who refuse to follow the orders of the MDIA, the President or other legitamate civillian authourities.

Swift action must be taken to preserve the hard won democracy of this nation and prevent us ending up like Spain with the Admiral as a new General Franco.
