Employment:
The Armed forces has 70000 full time officers and nco's and 10000 civilian employees. When fully mobilized the armed forces has 280000 conscript soldiers.

How is this divided up into the various branches? Cant be all equal, 70,000 full time officers and nco's, Im guessing the army has a large chunk of that, but I need to know exact details...
cheers.

How it is divided.

This way:

~250000 in the army, 50000 of these are officers/NCO's
~50000 in the Navy and Airforce with the rest of the officers/NCO's.

hmmm 50,000 Officers NCO's in the army, which means the Navy and Airforce get 20,000 between them, and 50,000 conscripts to share, sorry if im being a pest but I would like to know how that is shared between the Navy and Airforce, I am researching detailed info for our nations airforce.

A 50/50 split might be a tad unrealistic in my opinion, as Im sure the Navy which has been around for a lot longer would have the larger number of men.
I sugest that the Navy have 30,000 conscripts and 13,000 officers/nco's which leaves the airforce 20,000 conscripts and 7,000 officers/nco's.

Cheers.

Cheers.
Whilst your around, in the first page, I am now a Brigadier General not a Colonel. :)

Of course i'm alive...
I stop by here from time to time but i havn't posted much in a while.

I'll update your rank.

I didn't specify the navy/airforce numbers.
No specific reason.

The navy has a larger contingent since they have the marine regiment in their numbers.

The airforce has 10 bases of about 1000 men each and 5 AD battalions of about 500 each. Add to that a bit more and you have the total numbers for them.

The navy has 3 bases of differing size and the marine regiment.
My estimate is that they consist of about 5000 each in the bases and 3000 in the regiment.
Then there are the ships. I havn't counted them all in but i would be surprised if they arn't filled up with people.

Totaly each year there are 70000 conscripts trained, 1/4th of the army and marines and most of the rest.

It was some time since i made the numbers so i don't remember everything.

No jury's no prosecutors no defense in the EUtopian Military Law.
The Tribunal is composed out of three or four members under which the Chairman who should have the highest rank. They are Judge and jury.

OCC:

10 bases each with 1,000 men? I wouldnt think that each airbase would have the same ammount, as most flights would be stationed at 2 or 3 bases, or something similar, and a base that is run for training wouldnt need as much as a base which has a couple of active squadrons.
Theres a few other things as well, AD batallion, does that mean Air Defense?

I am working on a thread for the Airforce that will contain a lot of detailed info, I could take your numbers and work with them to create a realistic-ish airforce, I will consult you and the mods for most things, either via this thread or by PM

Cheers.

Then who is gathering the evidence and presenting it to the tribulnal? And the accused isn't allowed a defence? We are in a democracy and certain elements of that have to pass in to the way the military works. It wiould not be acceptable in any western Democracy for a soldier to be tried and convicted of serious crimes without putting forward a defense.
