I'm sure paradox will have a patch out for this today.

But so far -

* PRRS has no tech teams in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios
* Australiasia has no description in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios
* The nation of Tannu Tuva exists in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios
* The balance is a little off in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios, Australasia has only 25 manpower in the Armageddon Scen. I think that some of the resource income values for some of the nations may be buggered up?
* As Empire of Russia, your fleet starts in Leningrad, which is owned by sweden (who your at war with in Armageddon and not allied with in Abyss).

So far, thats all I've found.

But, despite that, I'm REALLY looking forward to hooking into some game time!!!

Oh, OK. I understand now.

Let's just hope they get rid of the most serious (that is, hard-coded) bugs with the next hotfix/patch. Of course, I'd love it if they fixed everything but... let's be realistic for a moment. :p

Two suggestions for next patch:

1/ Make it possible to trade convoy transports and escorts. It is annoying to have new puppets function badly due to the lack of suitable convoys, or not delivering supplies to its islands. NTM that US could be able to sell convoys to UK.

2/ Make it possible to build province enhancements in allied/puppet territory: at least AA, Air and Naval bases should be deployable, even if Infra could not be upgraded.

This one is a great suggestion. Don't think we'll see it in a patch though.

I agree, given that historically both of these things happened quite frequently. Alas, I think it might be too much of a stretch for this already aging engine, as it is set up currently...

Don't quite understand what you mean, but Armageddon does include 1954 as an optional ending date, along with 1958, 1964 and a much earlier year I don't remember at the moment.

I remember somebody saying that the new end date seem not to work with doomsday scenario. I don't know myself as I've never played it.

Hmm, that got me thinking... Has anyone tried setting the end date to 1940 and start post-1940 scenarios? That is, 1941, 1944 and Doomsday. If the devs didn't think about that, there might be bugs there...

On the new scenarios

Increase starting techs. No one wants to play with lvl 1 units, and most MP games would be effectively over in 2 years after the First DoW. Let the scens start in 1938 or 39, and with appropriate techs at least, not on the tech level of Afghanistan or Yemen.

I don'y see why. If everyone has 36 infrantry the situation is the same as when everyone has 43 infrantry.

While I agree to a certain extent, I think it would be better if everyone at least had basic technology - ie, the first three air doctrines, rather than simply the first one. Maybe 36 infantry and level 3 ships, and definitely a few of the '36 industrial techs. It would allow people to better shape their country the way they wanted to rather than having to spend a few years researching basic technology.

Strategic Redeployment suggestion

Strategic Redeployment is supposed done by railways. In the game, however, strategic redeployment can be done where no railways network existed - interior China, Africa being prime examples.

Could be a limit put on strat redeployment? E.g. It won't be possible if the Actual (not max.) Infrastructure of the Starting OR the Target provinces would be below a given treshold - say 40%? With the actual value preferably read from misc.txt.
