History Lesson said:The quest for Serbian State began during the Serbian national revolution, and it lasted for several decades. During the First Serbian Uprising led by Karađorđe Petrović, Serbia was independent for almost a decade before the Ottoman army could reoccupy the country. Shortly after this, the Second Serbian Uprising began; led by Miloš Obrenović, it ended in 1815 with a compromise between the Serbian revolutionary army and the Ottoman authorities. Famous German historian Leopold von Ranke published his book "the Serbian revolution" . They were the easternmost bourgeois revolutions in the 19th-century world. Likewise, Principality of Serbia abolished feudalism- second in Europe after France.
The Convention of Ackerman, the Treaty of Adrianople and finally, the Hatt-i Sharif of 1830, recognized the suzerainty of Serbia with Miloš Obrenović I as its hereditary Prince. The struggle for liberty, modern society and a nation-state in Serbia was crowned by the first constitution in the Balkans on 15 February 1835.
Arise Ye Warriors of Serbia, Intro 1936
It was a Cold and Snowy night in the Serbian Capital, Janissaries were everywhere, as the Ottoman State still attempted to oppress the Proletariat. It was a night that would go down in history, for tonight would be the Night that Serbia became truly free. They would throw off the Bondage of a False Monarch and Ottoman Oppressors, and bring about the greatest Democratic Institution that Europe has ever seen. - Freidrich Meinhoff, February 12th, 1936, Diaries of a Bohemian Revolutionary
As the night began, the Serbian Freedom Front began their assault on the Janissaries Fortresses, and the "Puppets Palace". It was over within a few hours, and all across the Nation, brothers in Arms rose, as their cells were activated, and the battles began. On March 16th, of the 1836th Year of our Lord, the Ottoman Forces began to recover, and the first day of Recognized Independence, and free from Foreign Control a Serbian National consciousness was formed. The First, and only Political Party of Serbia, Ustavobranitelji began to take their role, in the governance of the New State. The Serbian State was immediately recognized by Russia, and Prussia, both supporters of a Slavic State. On June 30th, the Serbian National Army reached its Peak, a Grand Total of 45,607 Soldiers were called to Arms, and used to Liberate Serbia, Bosnia, and Motegrio from Ottoman Oppression. On October 2nd, of 1836, the Serbian National Army Liberated Both Nis, and Tuzla from the Ottoman Empire, it seemed as if nothing could stop them. Then Defeat struck, in the Form of the Army of South Serbia was crushed in the Second Battle for Nis. After that Battle, the Council of Freedom met for a Second Time, in January 1837, and began to draw up proposals for a Peace Treaty. The Serbian State, having won many Victories against stacking odds, was clearly able to demand its freedom, but it could not get much more than its Core Provinces of Beograd, Bor, and Kragujevac - History of the Serbian Republic, Chapter One, Page Four
March, 1839 - After nearly Two whole Years of Independence, the Serbian Government began to work on Unification. As the Ottoman Empire began to suffer from Internal Dissedent, and a Prolonged War with Russia, the Ottoman State offered Serbia a Deal. Sarajevo, and the Surrounding Serbian Provinces, would be sold for a sum of nearly 17,000,000 British Pounds, which at the time, was the Currency that Serbia used. The Serbian State, while small, and poor, quickly jumped on the deal, knowing that while it would go into debt, it would greatly aid them as they were freeing more Brothers, and would nearly double in Size. The Serbian Prime Minister of the time, Boris Tadic was quoted saying "This Purchase, while small on an International Level, will do much to aid the Serbian State, and to help stabilize the deteriotating stability of the Balkans."((In Actuality, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Serbia, and Russia engaged the Ottomans in a War, and I claimed all of Serbia, and Bosnia. however, for intresting history, and Roleplaying, I did it this way))

==Operation Northern Star==
The Serbian State was finally Twelve whole years old, and has seen two Presidents. As the third President, Freidrich Meinhoff the Third, Liberator of Tuzla was being sworn in, a bomb exploded in the New Capital of Sarajevo. Nearly 400 People died in the explosion, as the largest series of bombs in History exploded in the cities sewage System. The President was killed, along with 4 Members of Senate. Nearly two weeks later, an investigation led by Nicholi Taranov the Former Vice President found that the Austro-Hungarian funded group "Bosniak liberation front" was responsible for the attacks. The Serbian Senate, in a landslide vote, issued a Ultimatium to Austria, hand over the Elements within their government that was responsible for the attacks, for face a War with Serbia. After nearly a Month of Stalling, the Austrian Government refused, and war was declared.
Two Months Later
Outside of Zargreb, the Soldiers of the Army were exhausted. The Serbian Army had advanced so far, but now Austria's Prussian, and German Allies were beginning to throw their weight into the Conflict, while Russia was fighting Prussia, and Austria on a Second Front.
The First World War was beginning.
The Romanians(Wallachalia, and Moldavia) were the first to join in Austria's side from outside its Main Military Allies. Then came the Ottomans, actually siding with the Serbian State due to the Austrian's increasingly Hostile attitude over "Adriatic Trade". Then, from a small fluke of luck, or maybe "Gods Grace", an African Nation called "Trarza" joined in on the Austrians Side.
On the Front, Paul Mantarakis, Greek Reporter accompanying Serbian Forces in Romania
: It is a pretty bloody conflict as we have seen. I have personally witnessed four battles between Serbian, Ottoman, and Romanian Coalition Troops. As I write this letter, I wish to alert the Athens Times that I may not return home, as my fellow reporters have actually been executed as combatants by the Austrians, and Romanian Forces. However, included in this Letter, I have put in three personal paintings, and two soldier Tags from Greek Volunteers, and of course, a detailed list of Casualties from the Greek "1st Dragoon Division". Now, back to what should be Included in my Article.The Serbians, though a small Nation, with a Small Army, have proven themselves on the battlefield, and have proven that for Democracy, any man would give his only begotten son. Morale, is surprisingly not a problem, as their troops keep themselves gay, and entertained. They are even treating the Locals as friendlies, and Normal Civilians, it is actually quite odd for a Occupied Territory. Now, as to what I said about Democracy before, the Quote has come from a Soldier, who has actually adopted a Romanian Child, who has lost his Parents. The Child asked "What is Democracy", and the Soldier replied "Its got something to do with young men going off and killing each other." The Child, in turn afterwards said "When it comes my turn, would you put me in the green-gray, and send me off.", and the Soldier replied "For Democracy, any man would give his only begotten Son.". That my Friends, is true determination, and we Greeks should take the lessons the Serbs have given, and take them to heart. However, this war is not without bloodshed, I have seen Thousands of men, strewn out on a field, moaning, and filling the Air with a Stench that no one who has not smelt can even fathom. I feel immense sorrow for the bloodshed, and do not advocate this war, but by god, I do hope the Serbians win, for they are the True Kings of Kings.
1851 - Breakthroughs
In Early, 1851 the Serbian, Ottoman, Russian Coalition began to make breakthroughs. They fought past the Hungarian Mountains, and began their Occupation of Romania, while the Serbian/Ottoman Joint Sixth army swept through the Dalmatian Coast, taking Croatia, and even getting to Venice. In Poland, Prussian and German troops were bogged down to a point where they were losing ground, and being forced back into Prussia-Proper. Koneigsburg itself had fallen. As winter began to end, the Serbians began their offensive, just as the "Republic of Hungary" was formed, with Serbia's support. Then the Miracle Alliance began to fall apart. the Ottomans left the Russian Alliance, and even brokered a deal with Austria saying that if the Empire would put down the revolution in Hungary, and push Russia out of Romania, the Ottomans would join their side. ((The Ottomans for now on, were known as Treachers in the Serbian Dictionary.)) The Serbian/Russian Coalition however, would not be stopped as they pushed the Austrians back into Austrian Proper with the new "Hungarian Republic's" help. In Studenland(Czech) another Revolution occurred, and the "Republic of Bohemia-Moravia" was formed. In May, of 1855 Austria was annexed into the Serbian Republic, along with all of her Western Holdings, while her Italian Holdings formed the new state of "Italy".
The Industrial Revolution
After the end of the Second Great Patriotic War, the Serbian State, now encompassing the entire Adraitic Balkan Coast sat back, and rebuilt. Her railroads, which were almost non existent, were expanded. Their Leadership faded into the night, as Weak leaders, who could not "Handle" the strains of International Greatness led to an increasingly Hostile outer world, and Isolationist Public View. In 1892, the Serbian Republic was finally entering the Last Major Struggle for her Place in History. A Power Hungry Fascist came into power, and soon began to "hold" the Bosniacs, Austrians, and Croats responsible for Serbia's falling prestige, and slowing Industrial Growth. As the Third Year of the Fascists reign was coming to a close, the Red Revolution struck. In Austria, Reds quickly seized what they could, redeclaring their Independence, taking almost all of the State of Osster. In Slovenia, the reds took over the entire State, cutting the Army off from reinforcements in Serbia to help crush the growing Rebellion. Then Finally, the Serbians were forced to recognize their independence, and as such give them their lands, which were a great blow to the Serbian State. It never rose to prominence again.
(Its only 1908 now, so I may be eating my own words)
